SAM PATTEN

Company President Sam Patten is Bob and Louise Patten’s third son. From the time he could hold his dad’s coffee cup, Sam has been a roofer. A graduate of Dunwoody Institute’s Sheet Metal Program, he joined the family business officially upon his 1973 graduation. After working with his dad and 2 brothers, Sam eventually acquired the company and expanded into the Iowa Great Lakes area.

From running crews on large projects to intricate specialized metal fabrication, Sam’s expertise is the foundation of Patten Roofing.

In his spare time, Sam loves spending time on his classic 28’ Chris Craft Cabin Cruiser. The boat is currently in “dry-dock” undergoing another restoration project.

A life-long Boy Scout, Sam served as a scoutmaster for more than 20 years and is currently working with the camping and event program.
